Elio the high-end Mexican restaurant from the ATM Group opted to permanently close after a five-month run at the Encore Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
The restaurant originally opened in late June after a three-month delay. They hoped to open on March 19, but those plans were put on hold when Gov. Steve Sisolak closed all nonessential businesses, including casinos and restaurants, on March 17.
Elio took over the former Andrea’s space next to Encore Beach Club. So far, Wynn Resorts has not announced a replacement for Elio. Delilah at Wynn Las Vegas is built and is scheduled to open in the spring. That may be delayed due to the lack of visitors and Covid restrictions.
