Saturday, November 11, 2023 is Veterans Day. One way businesses thank our service members for their sacrifice is by offering free or discounted meals and/or services. Be sure to have your proof of service with you as most businesses require it for these discounts.

LAS VEGAS VETERANS DAY PARADE

⊕  The Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade, according to CNN is the second largest in the US and the largest West of the Mississippi. It is held every year on November 11 (regardless of the day) in Downtown Las Vegas.

This year it starts at 10am on 4th Street, and runs from Garces Avenue to Stewart Avenue. A Flyover will take place at 10am.

⊕ Golden Corral: On November 11 they will have their annual Military Appreciation Night from 5pm to close. It honors military heroes with a free “thank you” meal. ID or DD-214 is required.

⊕ Hard Rock Cafe: All Veterans and Active Duty will receive a Free Legendary Burger all day long on Thursday November 11th with Valid I.D. This offer can be combined with your Hard Rock Cafe 15% Military Discount so bring family and friends.

⊕ Hooters: On November 11, all veterans who present a military ID or proof of service and purchase a beverage at any participating Hooters location nationwide will receive a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu (dine-in only).

⊕ IHOP: IHOP continues to celebrate and honor veterans on Veteran’s Day by offering free Red, White & Blue Pancakes or a Pancake Combo from 7AM-7PM for dine-in service only. ID or DD-214 is required.

Texas Roadhouse: [From 2022] During Texas Roadhouse’s “Texas-size Thank You for Serving Our Country” event this year, military members and veterans can pick up meal vouchers to redeem for one of 10 entrees, two sides and a non-alcoholic beverage of their choice (soda, iced tea or coffee).

Restaurant staff will hand out the vouchers on Friday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a press release from the restaurant. The Texas Roadhouse Veterans Day free meal Vouchers remain valid until May 30, 2023.

⊕ TGI Fridays: Veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free lunch on November 11 from 11am to 2pm from a select menu at participating locations. Dine-in only.
