Encore Resort & Casino is connected to its sister property, the Wynn Las Vegas. It opened in 2008 and it has 2,034 rooms and suites. It was renovated in 2022. This is one of the nicest resorts in Las Vegas. It is located on the far north end of the Las Vegas Strip. They are owned by Wynn Resorts.

Encore Resort & Casino has been awarded the AAA Five Diamond Award every year since they opened. In 2020 they were awarded a five-star rating by the Forbes Travel Guide.

The Tower Suites at Encore and The Spa have both received the Forbes Travel Guide five-star award. The Encore Las Vegas and its sister property Wynn, together hold more Forbes five-star awards than any other casino resort in the world. Tip: Guests of the Encore can also use the pools at the Wynn.

This casino attracts older age, high level gamblers as well as younger people visiting the very popular XS Nightclub. The casino features some of the latest slot machines and a casino pit with all the popular table games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, Baccarat, and more. The casino added a Race & Sports Book in 2017 and they have a very popular Poker Room. Tip: Be sure to sign up for the Wynn Rewards Players card.

There are several bars and cocktail lounges, including the Eastside Lounge, Lobby Bar & Cafe and Players Bar located in the casino. They have the very popular Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub. The Encore Theater seats 1,490 guests, with a wide range of performers, popular bands and comedians.

Fun Fact: When the Encore Resort & Casino opened on December 22, 2008, Steve Wynn gave high-rollers a few million dollars to make the initial bets and initiated the action by declaring over a microphone, “Let the games begin!”; the start of gambling was accompanied by a recording of Frank Sinatra’s “Luck Be a Lady Tonight”.
