The Gold Coast Hotel & Casino opened in 1986 and it has 711 rooms and suites. They are located off Strip, with the Rio next door and the Palms across the street. This casino caters to Las Vegas “locals” and is located about 1 mile from Caesars Palace on West Flamingo Road.

The theme of the casino changed from a dark country western gambling hall to a more modern gaming facility in 2002.

They have a fitness center, barber shop, outdoor pool and 30,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Tip: The Gift Shop & Liquor Store has very low prices on alcohol.

The 86,000 sq. ft. casino gets a lot of business from Asian gamblers because it is close to Chinatown. The casino has many of the latest slot machines, all the popular games in the 49 table pit, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, Baccarat, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’Em Progressive.

They also have a 720-seat Bingo Hall, live keno and a nice Race & Sports Book. They are owned by Boyd Gaming and their loyalty program is Boyd Rewards.
