Leo the MGM Grand Lion has been welcoming millions of visitors to Las Vegas since the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino opened on December 18, 1993. Leo the Lion is the mascot for the Hollywood film studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. He is in the lobby and the MGM Grand changes his theme many times throughout the year. Leo the MGM Lion puts smiles on the faces of people when they arrive to Las Vegas. He is a true Las Vegas treasure. Thank you Leo!
