Silverton Casino Lodge opened in 1994 as Boomtown Las Vegas. It changed names to Silverton in 1997 and is located 3 miles from the Las Vegas Strip and 5 miles from Harry Reid International Airport. It has a rustic hunting lodge theme and caters to Las Vegas “locals”.
They have 300 rooms and suites that received a full remodel in 2023 and feature different themes. Standard rooms measure 378 square-feet and include a 55″ flat-screen TV, mini-refrigerator and Starbucks in-room coffee service.
In May 2024, they opened The Swimmin’ Hole pool deck for hotel guests. They also have a 24/7 fitness center, business center and gift shop.
They have 90,000 square-feet of gaming space with 1,200 slot, keno and video poker machines. The casino pit has 25 tables with the most popular games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Pai Gow Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Three Card Poker and more.
They also have a 1,600 square-foot Sportsbook run by Circa Sports and they use the Silverton Rewards loyalty card.

Tip: Silverton Casino Lodge has a 117,000-gallon saltwater Aquarium with Mermaid Swims Thursday to Sunday. Stingray feeding daily at 1:30pm and 4:30pm. On select days, kids, teens and adults can go to Mermaid School and swim in the aquarium ($175 to $225). Note: this program is intended for participants who are strong swimmers.
They also have a 165,000 square-foot two-story Bass Pro Shops that is attached to the casino.
Concerts and events are performed in the 11,000 square-foot Veil Pavilion that holds 250 seated and 350 standing.
Fun Fact: When Bass Pro Shops opened in 2004 at the Silverton it was the company’s first location in the western United States.
