The Fountains of Bellagio and the Mirage Volcano shows have stopped, but some things continue to shine bright in Las Vegas.  It’s not the Viva Vision light show on the Fremont Street Experience canopy. It is actually several things.

The Luxor Sky Beam is the strongest beam of light in the world.  It is so powerful that it’s visible to air travelers in Los Angeles, the single beam is created by 39 individual xenon lights with 7,000-watt bulbs. The lights are located in a room 50 feet below the tip of the pyramid and, when on, bring the temperature of the room to upwards of 300°F. The Luxor is owned by MGM Resorts International.

The 550 foot-tall High Roller on the Linq Promenade is the world’s tallest observation wheel. It is closed, but remains lit up. The Linq is owned by Caesars Entertainment.

One of the icons of the Las Vegas skyline is the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. This monumental structure stands at the height of 46 stories and is a half-scale replica of the actual landmark in France. It was originally planned as full size, but had to be shrunk due to the nearby McCarran International Airport. It remains closed, but the lights shine on. Paris Las Vegas is owned by Caesars Entertainment.

3/22/2020 The Stratosphere tower is 1,149 feet tall – the tallest freestanding observation tower in the USA. It remains closed, but it is lit up. The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod is owned by Golden Entertainment.
