The Excalibur Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip has removed the construction walls for a brand new restaurant next to the Race & Sports Book in the casino. Vagabond DRINK + PLAY + EAT will feature a draft beer program, arcade games, live entertainment, and sports viewing throughout the bar and restaurant. Curtains are currently covering the front of the restaurant.
This space was formally the Excalibur Coffee Shop. It was recently used as a temporary showroom for Thunder from Down Under and The Australian Bee Gees shows while their second floor theater received a major upgrade and remodel.
Vagabond will have domestic, imported, and craft beers on tap, frozen drinks, and a special menu focused on beer and shot pairings will be featured at the bar. They will have live music, tabletop gaming, arcade and bar games. Eighteen high-definition television screens will be tuned to sports. A stage surrounds the bar.
The restaurant plans to be open at 4 pm Monday through Thursday and starting at 10 am Friday through Sunday when it opens. The Excalibur Hotel & Casino is owned by MGM Resorts International.
