The construction walls have been removed and the Thunder Bar is almost ready to open at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. It is located on the second floor next to the new Thunderland Showroom and the Buffet at Excalibur. Before this major renovation the space was called the Octane Lounge.
The Thunder Bar has a large countertop bar with no gaming machines. Behind the bar is a large stage for bands to perform. As of Friday October 25th, the furniture was not in place and the bar also needs to be stocked. The hours and other details were not available.
This will be a great bar to visit before or after a show in the newly remodeled Thunderland Showroom. Shows currently performing are “Thunder From Down Under”, “The Australian Bee Gees Show” and “Master illusionist Hans Klok”. The Excalibur Hotel & Casino is owned by MGM Resorts International.
