Dominique Ansel Marché Opens at Paris Las Vegas
Dominique Ansel Marché opened Friday, December 6 at Paris Las Vegas. The venue comes from Chef Dominique Ansel, the James Beard Award-winning pastry chef. Along with the Cronut, Ansel is known for creations like The Cookie Shot, Frozen S’more, and Blossoming Hot Chocolate.
This is his second bakery on the Las Vegas Strip. In a twist from the Caesars Palace Resort & Casino location, Dominique Ansel Marché offers a new savory selection as part of its Parisian market-inspired menu, including made-to-order buckwheat crêpes, sandwiches and flatbreads.
Dominique Ansel Marché is open 7am to 11pm daily.
Caesars Palace and two other properties replacing casino carpet
Traditionally, Las Vegas has low occupancy each year in early December. Because of this, many casinos decide to replace the carpet on their casino floors during this time. This year it looks like the casinos replacing carpet are Caesars Palace, Excalibur Hotel & Casino and Main Street Station. There may be others.
The Venetian Opens New Bar
The Venetian Resort & Casino has opened Bar Mia in Restaurant Row, directly next to the entrance to Voltaire. The small bar should do well before and after shows and with foot-traffic walking from The Venetian to the Palazzo.
The Lounge at Excalibur Receiving a Remodel
The construction curtains are up at The Lounge in the Excalibur Hotel & Casino. It will be undergoing a remodel for the next few weeks. The bar remains open and live karaoke has been temporarily relocated to TAP Sports Bar, next to the Race & Sportsbook.
“In The Game” Arcade coming to Fremont Street
Construction continues on In The Game on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. This new arcade will be located in the historic El Portal Theater building. The opening date has not been announced.
