Main Street Station Casino Brewery Hotel opened with new ownership (Boyd Gaming) in 1996. It opened as the Holiday International in 1978. That failed, and in 1987 until 1990 it was named Park Hotel and Casino. It has 406 hotel rooms and has a Train Station/Victorian theme. It is connected to the sister property, the California Hotel & Casino with an enclosed skywalk connecting the two properties.
The casino has both old and new slot machines and all the popular table games in the pit. 20X odds on craps. Their loyalty program is Boyd Rewards. For Sports betting and Live Keno take the skywalk to the California.
Tip: You can get a brochure to show you the many antiques located throughout the casino at the bell desk or reception. You can pee on an actual piece of the Berlin Wall and see some great antiques on the second floor. Ask security to visit the second floor and women can go in the men’s restroom (with security escort) to see the Berlin Wall.
Dining options are limited at Main Street Station, but the two options are very good.

Main Street Station, as well as the other Boyd owned casinos Downtown cater to Hawaiian visitors. The hotel is usually about 70% full with (generally) older Hawaiians, and that is a good thing, because they are pure Aloha.
