Thunder Bar Coming to Excalibur
Construction should start soon on Thunder Bar at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. This new bar and lounge is replacing the former Octane Lounge on the second floor, outside the new Thunderland Showroom. It will feature live entertainment.
Crack Shack at Park MGM almost ready to open
The construction walls remain in place, but it looks like they are wrapping up construction on The Crack Shack at Park MGM. It is located in the front of the resort, on the Las Vegas Strip.
From MGM Resorts International: Park MGM will welcome The Crack Shack, a gourmet fried chicken eatery known for one-of-a-kind menu items, to the resort’s food and beverage portfolio in fall 2019. Created by The Crack Shack’s CEO Michael Rosen and celebrity chef Richard Blais, the three-meal casual dining venue will offer guests fried chicken, decadent sandwiches and unique menu offerings such as chicken oysters, mini biscuits, deviled eggs, Mexican poutine and more. A full bar and bar games also will be available.
Mama Rabbit & Tequila Bar at Park MGM Update
Mama Rabbit & Tequila Bar at Park MGM on the Las Vegas Strip will open on Wednesday, August 28th and it looks great. Sneak peak photos posted below.
From MGM Resorts International: Curated by mezcalera Bricia Lopez, Mama Rabbit is an ode to mezcals and tequilas from across Mexico. Mama Rabbit takes its name from Mayahuel, the goddess of agave and fertility. Mayahuel was the mother of 400 rabbits that she nourished with mezcal and tequila, and thus Mama Rabbit was born. The brightly decorated 4,400 square foot space features a large double-sided bar, multiple rooms, live entertainment, roaming margarita carts and Las Vegas’ largest agave-based spirits selection hand-selected by Lopez, coined the “Oaxacan Princess” by the late Jonathan Gold of The Los Angeles Times. Serving a menu of tequilas, mezcals, signature craft cocktails and light bites, Mama Rabbit invites you to wander into the world of Oaxaca.
Harley Davidson Cafe Replacement Announced
The Harley Davidson Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip closed on October 30, 2016 after a 19 year run. The building on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and E. Harmon Ave has remained vacant since. That is about to change with the opening of Tex Mex Tequila Bar & Grill. No further details are available at this time.
Harrah’s Lobby and Room remodel update
Harrah’s Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip is currently remodeling the hotel lobby and all rooms and suites in the Mardi Gras Tower. Here are the latest photos.
