Tropicana Laughlin opened in June 1988 as the Ramada Express. It is the only resort in Laughlin that is not on the banks of the Colorado River. They are operated by Caesars Entertainment.

The hotel features 1,487 rooms and suites in two towers, the 24-story Promenade Tower and the 12-story Casino Tower. Select rooms have views of the Colorado River and all rooms come with a pillow-top mattress with premium bedding, flat-screen TV and seating area.

They have an outdoor heated pool and hot tub that is open year-round. Guests of the Tropicana can use the fitness center and sand beach at Harrah’s Laughlin (sister property).

They have 52,000 square-feet of gaming space with 650 slot, keno and video poker machines. The casino pit has eight table games with Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and more.

They also have a Bingo Hall (with sessions from 9am to 9pm every odd hour) and a Caesars Sportsbook. Their loyalty program is Caesars Rewards.

They have a large arcade and the Pavilion Theater, which presents live performances that vary from comedy to music on designated dates.

In front of the casino, Victory Plaza serves as a venue for special events, including cookouts, classic car exhibitions, and holiday celebrations.

Fun Fact: The Tropicana formerly operated a 3-foot narrow gauge train that would take guests from the rear parking lot to the casino for free. Some of the railroad tracks can still be found around the property.

They offer free self-parking and have a free shuttle to Harrah’s Laughlin.
