The Tropicana Laughlin Hotel & Casino opened in June 1988 as the Ramada Express. It is the only resort in Laughlin that is not on the banks of the Colorado River. The hotel features 1,498 rooms and suites in two towers, the Promenade Tower and the Casino Tower for adults only. Many of the rooms were remodeled in 2017. The theme is railroad.
