Harrah’s Laughlin Beach Resort & Casino sits on the banks of the Colorado River, across from Bullhead City, Arizona. It opened on August 29, 1988, as Harrah’s Del Rio. It is operated by Caesars Entertainment and has a Mexican Riviera theme.

The hotel has 1,506 rooms and suites in three towers, the 15-story South Tower (adult only), 18-story Central Tower and the 20-story North Tower. Standard rooms measure 300 square-feet and come with a work desk, flat screen TV, coffee maker and select rooms also include a mini-refrigerator.

They have two pools and jacuzzi with at least one pool open year-round. The South Pool is for adults only and the North Pool is for all ages. They also have a sand beach on the river, fitness center, arcade and gift shop.

The casino has 50,000 square-feet of gaming space with over 750 slot, keno and video poker machines (many in a large non-smoking section). The casino pit has 22 table games with Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Let It Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Texas Hold’em and more.

They have Live Keno, 8-table Poker Room and a Caesars Race & Sportsbook that is surrounded by 20 HD TVs and a big screen projector. Their loyalty program is Caesars Rewards.

For entertainment, they have the Fiesta Showroom that seats 425 guests and features different shows throughout the year. They also have the 5,000 seat Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater for headliners.

They have 7,000 square-feet of flexible meeting and event space.

Fun Fact: Harrah’s Laughlin was the site of the “River Run Riot” that took place on April 27, 2002, between the Hells Angels and Mongols motorcycle clubs. It was during the Laughlin River Run with many injured, 3 dead and 13 imprisoned.

Tip: If you have mobility issues, it is a hike if walking to the other resorts on the river. It is best to drive, take a river taxi or the free shuttle to Tropicana Laughlin.
