Celebrated chef, restaurateur and James Beard Award-winner Michael Mina is set to introduce Orla to Las Vegas this winter at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. A restaurant that blends the flavors of the Mediterranean and Greece with the bold, aromatic spices of the Middle East, the concept will be the first of its kind for the celebrated chef.

“This venue marks another exciting chapter in the ’new wave’ of Mandalay Bay and showcases an ongoing commitment to the evolution of our resort offerings,” said Mandalay Bay President & COO Chuck Bowling. “Chef Mina is one of the best chefs in the world and his success with us at our StripSteak restaurant is a testament to his creativity, culinary standards and passion for making memorable experiences nightly for our guests. He’ll now extend all of those attributes to his introduction of Orla, which we are certain will quickly become equally beloved by our guests.”

Chef Michael Mina said, “I am honored to introduce Orla to the vibrant Las Vegas dining scene. With this new restaurant, we aim to bring the captivating flavors and vibrant energy of the Mediterranean and Middle East to life with dishes inspired by my upbringing. We look forward to sharing our culinary passion and creating special moments for all who visit.”

Orla, meaning “golden princess” in Greek, will transport guests to a realm where ancient traditions harmoniously merge with contemporary culinary innovation. Drawing influences from Europe, North Africa, Western Asia, and nods to Chef Mina’s Egyptian heritage, the seafood-focused experience will allow guests to explore the culinary wonders of these distinct yet complementary regions.

Additional details on the restaurant, including design, dining and cocktail menus, will be shared in the coming months.
