Peppermill Resort Spa Casino opened on April 23, 1971, as a coffee shop and Fireside Lounge in Reno. It has expanded over the years and is now a full-scale resort and casino. It is one of only four AAA Four Diamond hotels located in northern Nevada. The resort is owned by Peppermill Casinos, Inc. and the theme is Tuscany.
The hotel features 1,621 rooms and suites in four distinct wings and towers. Among these are the 600-room all-suite Tuscany Tower, as well as the Peppermill Tower, West Wing and North Wing. Standard rooms range in size from 250 to 360 square-feet, while suites vary from 500 to 1,275 square-feet. All rooms are equipped with double-pillow-top mattresses, free Wi-Fi, a HDTV and a mini-refrigerator.
The property includes two swimming pools, one of which is heated and is open year-round, as well as Spa & Salon Toscara, which spans 33,000 square-feet and contains 24 treatment rooms. Additionally, there is a 9,000 square-foot fitness center, a business center available 24/7, wedding specialists and three retail shops.
They have 82,000 square-feet of gaming space with over 1,700 slot, keno, and video poker machines. The casino pit, which includes 48 tables, offers all the popular table games such as Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, Three Card Poker, Four Card Poker and more.
Additionally, there is a High Limit gaming area and a non-smoking Poker Room with 19 tables. The Race & Sportsbook has over 100 TVs for the best viewing. They use the Passport Rewards loyalty card.
