SAHARA Las Vegas, on the north end of the Strip has been completely transformed. Over $150 million has been put into the resort and casino with work wrapping up on the front entrance and valet. It looks like the final touches will include replacing the front doors, additional lighting and landscaping.
If you have not visited since the Meruelo Group took ownership of the property, you should think about doing so. They have many new dining options available, including Chickie’s and Pete’s Crabhouse and Sports Bar, Noodle Den, Uno Mas Street Tacos and Zeffer’s. Balla Italian Soul should be opening soon and the acclaimed Bazaar Meat by José Andrés remains.
If you visit the SAHARA, also stop by the STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod that also completed over $100 million in renovations. Both properties are on the far north end of the Las Vegas Strip.
