On Wednesday, August 4 the Wynn Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip opened Overlook Lounge in the former Parasol Up space. They did a fantastic job replacing the chandeliers, carpet, and furnishings, in the 3,093-square-foot lounge.
In late September, Parasol Down will receive a major $800,000 remodel. It is not known if it will receive a new name at this time. Both lounges have fantastic views of the “Lake of Dreams” attraction, with shows from dusk to 12:30 a.m. every 30 minutes.
Parasol Up and Parasol Down lounges debuted with the resort in April 2005 and leave SW Steakhouse, Tableau, Red 8 and Wing Lei as the remaining original dining tenants.
