There were several changes on the Las Vegas Strip this past week. Resorts World is tweaking the casino layout, Rhumber at The Mirage served their last cocktail on Sunday and Zeffer’s opened at Sahara Las Vegas. Photos are posted below.

Resorts World Las Vegas

Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip opened to the public on June 24. One month later they are making changes to the layout of the casino floor. Also, a brand new Stardust sign replica that was added two weeks ago has either been moved to a very discreet location or it vanished.

Over a dozen security guards had no idea where the art piece went. Boyd Gaming still owns the Stardust name. Perhaps they were not happy? I do not believe so. If you know where the new Stardust sign replica was relocated, please contact us HERE.

Mirage Resort & Casino

Rhumber at the Mirage Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip closed on Sunday, July 25 to make way for a new Ultra Lounge that is scheduled to open this winter. On Monday, they wasted no time gutting Rhumbar, removing all furniture, TV’s, and more. Good luck to the employees.

Sahara Las Vegas

Zeffer’s, is a new café featuring an elevated casual dining experience with a focus on seasonality and simplicity, opened this week. Crafted by Chef Lyle Kaku, Executive Chef of SAHARA Las Vegas, the menu offers recognizable breakfast and lunch favorites and staple comfort food dishes, all with a unique twist.

Hours: Sunday through Thursday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Zeffer’s replaced the former Northside Café & Chinese Kitchen. It looks great with this fantastic remodel.
