Park MGM is on track to reopen September 30, according to MGM Resorts International. It will become a non-smoking hotel and casino, the first on the Las Vegas Strip.

The company revealed its tentative plan for the Las Vegas Strip property in a press release Wednesday announcing the reopening date of Empire City Casino in New York state.

“With the reopening of Empire City on Monday, September 21st, MGM Resorts will have reopened all of its domestic properties, with the exception of Park MGM and Four Seasons in Las Vegas, following temporary closure earlier this year amidst the COVID-19 crisis,” the statement reads.

That timetable would put Park MGM on track to open sometime between October 9 and 24. There was no mention of the separate boutique hotel, called NoMad Las Vegas, with 292 rooms and suites that is on the top floors of Park MGM.
