New Names Given to two Paris Las Vegas Restaurants
Two restaurants at Paris Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip were rebranded recently. Le Cafe Ile St. Louis is now officially called Cafe Americano. They have been under new management since the beginning of the year, but finally changed the signs.
Yong Kang Street has been rebranded Lucky 88. It is located in the indoor walkway from Paris to Bally’s. It is now managed by Caesars Entertainment and it is open with limited hours and a reduced menu.

Bacchanal Buffet Remodel Update at Caesars Palace
The construction curtains remain in place at the Bacchanal Buffet in Caesars Palace Resort & Casino. It looks like they have gotten a lot of work done over the past few weeks. The Bacchanal Buffet is considered one of the best on the Las Vegas Strip. It has been rumored to reopen in September. It looks ready to go now.

Treasure Island New Race & Sports Book Construction Update
The Corner Market Buffet at Treasure Island Resort & Casino has permanently closed and has construction curtains in place. The Golden Circle Sports Bar is also closed with construction curtains. They will be moving the Race & Sports Book into this space in the future.

Caesars Entertainment Changes Logo with new ownership
Eldorado Resorts Inc. completed its $17.3 billion acquisition of Caesars Entertainment Corp. on Monday, July 20 taking control of its properties and name. The Reno-based company now operates 52 properties in 16 states. The logo was immediately changed.
Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, Bally’s and the gaming floor at the Linq Hotel + Experience are open. The Linq hotel rooms remain closed at this time. Planet Hollywood, Cromwell and the Rio remain closed.
These are the old and new logos for Caesars Entertainment.
Venetian Resort Completes Upgrade of Outside Marquee
The outside marquee upgrade at the Venetian Resort & Casino has been completed. Scaffolding remains in place on the marquee at the Palazzo Resort & Casino. Both resorts are owned by the Las Vegas Sands Corp. The marquee at the Venetian is much brighter and looks great.

Tropicana Las Vegas on the Strip for sale again
Tropicana Las Vegas landlord Gaming and Leisure Properties is looking to sell the 35-acre hotel-casino and rent it back or sell it outright. Penn National Gaming sold the property to its spinoff real estate holding company, Gaming and Leisure, for $307.5 million worth of rent credits and leased it back.
Tropicana Las Vegas is scheduled to reopen September 1.

Resorts World Las Vegas Construction Update
Resorts World is a casino and resort currently under construction on the Las Vegas Strip across the street from the Encore Resort. It is owned and operated by the Genting Group, based in Malaysia. It is on the former Stardust Hotel and Casino site that was owned by Boyd Gaming. Boyd was going to build Echelon Place, but they stopped construction in 2008, due to the economic downturn.
Boyd sold the site to the Genting Group in 2013 for $350 Million. Resorts World Las Vegas will cost $4.3 Billion to build. It will have two hotel towers, with 3,500 rooms and suites, seven pools, and over 110,000 square feet of gaming space. The theme will be a luxury experience “with Asian-inspired touches”. Circa Resort & Casino Construction Update
Circa Resort & Casino is currently under construction in Downtown Las Vegas. This new resort will have 777 rooms and suites. It is located in the space that was formally occupied by the Las Vegas Club, Glitter Gulch and Mermaids Casino. It is on the corner of Fremont Street and Main Street.
Circa Resort & Casino will feature a two-story casino, spa, several restaurants and the longest bar on Fremont Street. It will be a 469 foot tower that will have approx. 44 floors. This will be the first hotel and casino in Downtown Las Vegas built from the ground up since the Sundance Hotel in 1980, that became the Fitzgeralds Hotel & Casino and is now The D Las Vegas.
