UPDATE 4/1/2020- This event has been cancelled.

On April 1, hundreds of tourism and hospitality workers will drive in unison along the length of Las Vegas Boulevard, beginning at Town Square Las Vegas and concluding at Fremont Street.

The goal? To show the world Las Vegas’ tourism industry will recover.

The “Light Up Las Vegas” car parade will take place in compliance with recommended social distancing guidelines; participants will not exit their vehicles when they arrive at the parade’s starting point.

Organizers are expecting as many as 300 cars to participate. They will begin gathering at Town Square at 5pm and are expected to depart around 5:15pm.

Casino, airline, hotel, tavern, tourism and hospitality workers are encouraged to participate.
