There are many changes in Downtown Las Vegas this week.  VegasChanges.com took many photos.  These include:

  • Plaza Hotel and Casino remodeling three floors for the new Luxe Rooms.
  • Golden Gate Casino and Hotel to add Race & Sports Book (location announced).
  • Binion’s Gambling Hall has many changes, including the location of the front desk for the Hotel Apache  currently under construction.
  • Binion’s Gambling Hall construction of the 2nd floor Licker Up Saloon at full speed.
  • Binion’s Gambling Hall – a possible relocation of the Kevin Lepine “Hypnosis Unleashed” Theater to the former Horseshoe Coffee Shop underground.
  • Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino adds free shuttle to the Las Vegas Strip.
  • “Fear the Walking Dead Survival” on the Fremont Street Experience has closed for good.
  • Circa Resort and Casino construction is on schedule to open in December 2020.  This will be a 777 room resort.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino are remodeling three floors of the North Tower and these will be called Luxe rooms and they hope to have them available for guests in June.

Vato’s Cigars will move into this space at Binion’s Gambling Hall.  This is near the stairs to the former Horseshoe Coffee Shop that was underground and the current poker room.
