Treasure Island adds Express Self Check-In in the overhead walkway to the Parking Garage and Tram Station. This was added in early July 2018. They have four Self Check-in Kiosks. This will be a huge time saver for those that choose to self park. There is no longer a reason to go to the Hotel Lobby. There is a desk clerk to assist guests and issue room keys.
Self Check-In Kiosks are not new to Las Vegas, but they are new at Treasure Island, and this is a huge time saver if you self park. There is now no reason to drag your bags through the casino to the Hotel Lobby. Check-in on the walkway, take the escalators down to the first floor, make a right and you are at the Hotel elevator banks. Perhaps other hotels will do something similar, so guests do not have to even go to the Hotel Lobby.
Treasure Island has 2,664 rooms and 220 suites and is owned by Phil Ruffin. Treasure Island is one of the last Hotel Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip to offer free valet and self parking.
Treasure Island is currently remodeling the Buffet and adding a Sports Bar. The free tram to the Mirage is getting a complete overhaul and is currently closed.
