Boyd Gaming will begin charging a daily resort fee at the California, Fremont and Main Street Station Hotels and Casinos.  The resort fee will be $14.99 plus tax per day.  The new fee will be charged on new reservations booked after April 15th.  Some comped guests will have the resort fee waived, others will not.  It will be based on your play, not tier level.

No information was available if guests that arrive from Vacations Hawaii will have to pay this new resort fee, as of April 4th, 2018.  Boyd Gaming has four weekly charter flights from Honolulu Hawaii to Las Vegas.  Guests from these charter flights stay at Boyd’s three Downtown Casinos.  The Four Queens Hotel still does not charge a resort fee.

UPDATE 4/17/2018: Boyd Properties Downtown – Resort fees have started. I asked at the Fremont and Main Street Station what these include and if Vacations Hawaii guests will pay them.   Vacation Hawaii guests do not have resort fees (at this time).

UPDATE 7/15/2018:  This page was updated with the latest information.
