The Resort at Summerlin opened on July 15, 1999, and caters to Las Vegas “locals” and visitors alike. It is located 12 miles from the Las Vegas Strip and 16 miles from Harry Reid International Airport. It has a Mediterranean theme.

The hotel is a JW Marriott and has 548 rooms and suites in two hotel towers, Palms and Spa, that were all fully renovated in 2024. Deluxe rooms measure 560 square-feet and suites measure 845-1,100 square-feet. All rooms come with a mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, soft robes, plush bedding and spa-style marble bathrooms with soak tub.

They have a very nice Pool Complex that is open seasonally with heated pool and whirlpool. They also have the 40,000 square-foot Spa Aquae, High Roller Barber Shop, Fitness Center, Business Center, Enterprise car rental and Gift Shop.

The casino has 57,000 square-feet of gaming space with over 1,200 slot, keno and video poker machines. The casino pit has 34 table games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Texas Hold’em and more.

The 316-seat Bingo Hall has sessions at the top of each odd hour from 11am-9pm Sun-Thu and 11am-11pm Fri & Sat. They also have a 6,000 square-foot Caesars Race & Sportsbook with a 55-foot LED screen and 80 high-definition TVs. Their loyalty program is Rampart Rewards.

Fun Fact: When it opened in 1999 it was called Regent Casino and quickly changed names to Rampart Casino. It rebranded The Resort at Summerlin on January 1, 2026.
