Palace Station is a hotel and casino that caters to Las Vegas “locals” and many Asian gamblers, because it is near Chinatown on West Sahara Avenue. It is 3 miles from the center of the Las Vegas Strip and 5-1/2 miles from Harry Reid International Airport.
It opened in 1976 as The Casino and in 1977 they added Bingo, so they changed the name to Bingo Palace. It became Palace Station in 1984 after a major expansion and had a Railroad theme until 2017.
