Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is located next to the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is about 2-miles from the Las Vegas Strip and 3½-miles from Harry Reid International Airport. They are an Ascend Hotel Collection resort.

It opened as the International Hotel Casino in 1969. It then became the Las Vegas Hilton and then the LVH. The Westgate is still a hotel, but many rooms have been converted into timeshare units.

They have 2,956 all non-smoking rooms and suites on 30 floors. Standard rooms measure 400 square-feet, suites measure 700-2,500 square-feet and Sky Villas measure up to 15,400 square-feet. All rooms come with comfortable bedding, sitting area, work desk, flat-screen TV and mini-refrigerator.

Serenity Spa & Salon by Westgate is open daily and spans 10,000 square-feet. They also have a nice outdoor pool with 15-seat hot tub that is open seasonally, fitness center, FedEx Office business center, pickleball and tennis courts and a 24/7 gift shop.

They have 95,000 square-feet of gaming space with over 700 slot, keno and video poker machines. The 31-table casino pit features many of the most popular table games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Pai Gow Poker and more. They also have a 7-table poker room and High Limit gaming.

The crown jewel at this casino is the SuperBook, that is one of the world’s largest race and sports books. It spans 30,000 square-feet with over 350 seats and has a massive 220-foot-by-18-foot 4K Video wall.

The casino is managed by Paragon Gaming, and they use the WOW (World of Westgate) loyalty card.

They have 225,000 square-feet of flexible meeting and convention space, including the 70,000 square-foot Paradise Event Center.

Fun Fact: Music legend Elvis Presley performed 636 consecutive sold-out shows at the Las Vegas Hilton (now known as the Westgate Resort & Casino).
