New York-New York Hotel & Casino opened in 1997 and it has 2,024 rooms and suites. It is on the “four corners” of the south Las Vegas Strip. The theme is New York City. The buildings facade is meant to represent New York City as it was in the 1940s. They have many shops, meeting rooms, spa & salon, fitness center and outdoor pool (open seasonally).

This is a fun casino with 84,000 square-feet of gaming space and 67 table games. It features the latest slot machines and a large casino pit with all the popular table games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Mini Baccarat, Let It Ride, Three Card Poker, Texas Hold’em Bonus, Crazy 4 Poker, Pai Gow Poker and more. It has a small BetMGM Race & Sports Book and they use the MGM Rewards loyalty card.

They have several bars and lounges, including the Chocolate Bar, Center Bar, Big Chill Bar, High Limit Bar, Boat House Bar and Pour 24. The Bar at Times Square features dueling pianos nightly. They also have Coyote Ugly Bar & Dance Saloon that opens at 6pm (DJ starts at 9pm nightly).

New York-New York Hotel & Casino is next to The Park and T-Mobile Arena which holds 20,000 guests. T-Mobile Arena is home for the Vegas Golden Knights NHL hockey team and was the most profitable Arena of its size in the world in 2017.

They have the very popular Hershey’s Chocolate World store. On the second floor they have the Big Apple Coaster & Arcade. The Showroom has 1,261 seats and features the Cirque du Soleil show Mad Apple.

Fun Fact: The US Post Office Statue of Liberty Forever stamp, which was intended to show the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor, actually shows the replica at New York-New York. This was due to an error by the stamp designers.
