The ARIA Resort & Casino is located in CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip. It has 4,004 rooms and suites. This hotel casino opened in 2009, and it is very modern. ARIA is the 8th tallest building in Las Vegas and does not have a theme. They have a very nice pool deck, spa, salon, wedding chapel, several stores and fitness center.

These are several room categories at the ARIA Resort, including Deluxe, Resort Club (with access to the lounge), Tower Suites and Sky Suites. The suites make up 568 of the rooms, and a portion are referred to as Sky Suites which is a AAA-5 Diamond and a Forbes Five Star hotel. Sky Suites are categorized separately since they are accessed via a private entrance and elevator, and include transportation between the hotel and airport in limousines.

They have 150,000 square feet of gaming space. The casino has some of the latest slot and video poker machines. The casino pit features Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, Baccarat and more. The poker room is very popular and is usually full. Very nice BetMGM Race & Sports Book. ARIA is operated by MGM Resorts International and they use the MGM Rewards loyalty card.

There are several bars and lounges at ARIA, including Lift Bar, Lobby Bar, ALIBI Ultra Lounge, Gem Bar, Sports Bar, High Limit Lounge, Baccarat Lounge, Easy’s Cocktail Lounge, Proper Bar and LIQUID Pool Lounge. Jewel Nightclub replaced Haze in March 2016 and remains very popular Monday, Friday and Saturday.

ARIA is connected to The Shops at Crystals, with high-end retailers, gourmet restaurants and art galleries. There are no department stores, but there are 56 exclusive boutiques such as Gucci, Harry Winston, Cartier, Prada, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Versace.

Fun Fact: As part of a $40 million public art program initiated by MGM Resorts, works by noted artists have been variously commissioned and acquired with the goal of promoting Las Vegas as a destination for the art world. Among them, Maya Lin’s contribution is an 84-foot cast of the Colorado River suspended above the check-in desk within CityCenter’s ARIA Resort lobby. It is named “Silver River”. Fun Fact #2: Located in the Javier’s at the ARIA Resort features “The world’s largest piece of chainsaw art,” weighing 3,000 pounds and spanning 25 feet. Artist J. Chester Armstrong created the five 5- by 10-foot panels that depict the Mayan Creation myth and modern Mexican history. On it, hundreds of dia de los muertos skeletons transport guest through a five-part journey that includes the dark Tree of Death to redemption in the Tree of Life. (Photo posted below).
