Korean Air marked 20 years of nonstop service between Seoul, South Korea, and Las Vegas on September 22, 2026, celebrating a route that has strengthened Southern Nevada’s connection to a key international visitor market for two decades.
Since the inaugural round-trip flight in September 2006, Korean Air has provided a vital direct link between Las Vegas and Asia. In response to demand, the airline expanded from three weekly flights to five weekly flights and ultimately launched daily nonstop service in November 2024.
Over the past 20 years, Korean Air has operated nearly 7,500 flights between Seoul and Las Vegas, providing more than 2.1 million seats and carrying more than 1.56 million passengers through July 2026. Those flights have covered nearly 44.8 million miles, roughly equivalent of nearly 94 round trips to the moon. The overall estimated economic impact of this service is approximately $1.7 billion.
The anniversary was recognized at Harry Reid International Airport’s Terminal 3, where arriving Korean Air passengers were welcomed at the Customs exit by iconic Las Vegas showgirls. Champagne and sparkling cider added to the celebration as the milestone arrival highlighted the enduring importance of the Seoul–Las Vegas route.
