Durango Casino & Resort will welcome Villa’s Tacos to Eat Your Heart Out on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 11 a.m., marking the acclaimed taqueria’s first location outside of Los Angeles. Founded by Chef/Owner Victor Villa, the famed taqueria will bring the restaurant’s beloved tacos “Estilo Los Angeles,” signature blue corn tortillas and community-driven spirit to southwest Las Vegas.

The opening-day celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by live mariachi music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first 100 guests in line will receive a complimentary “Villas Trio” plate and other special surprises.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Villa’s Tacos to Durango and introduce its authentic flavors and rich family traditions to our guests,” said David Horn, Vice President and General Manager of Durango Casino & Resort. “Victor and his team have built something truly special, and we’re proud to bring their acclaimed tacos, genuine hospitality, and vibrant spirit to Eat Your Heart Out.
Born from the front yard of Villa’s grandmother’s Highland Park home, Villa’s Tacos has grown into a celebrated Southern California destination rooted in family, tradition and community. Recognized by the Michelin Guide as a Bib Gourmand destination, the taqueria is known for combining authentic flavors with its distinctive Estilo Los Angeles approach.
Guests can choose from Villa’s Tacos’ signature tacos, queso tacos and mulitas, made with homemade blue corn tortillas and filled with Ranchera Asada, wood-fired Al Pastor, Pierna de Pollo, Chorizo de Puerco, Grilled Soyrizo, Papas a la Plancha or Frijoles con Nopal. Each selection is finished with guacamole, crema, cotija, onion and cilantro and served with radishes and lime wedges.
“Bringing Villa’s Tacos to Las Vegas is an exciting next chapter for our team,” said Victor Villa, Chef/Owner of Villa’s Tacos. “We can’t wait to fire up the grill at Durango and share the flavors, traditions and hospitality that started with our family in Highland Park.”
Villa’s Tacos will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and from 11 to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The restaurant will be located inside Eat Your Heart Out in the space formerly occupied by Fiorella.
