Gold Town Casino has closed its doors in Pahrump, Nevada. The last day of operations was Sunday, May 24. Golden Entertainment has operated the casino since 2012 and has decided not to renew their lease.
Gold Town Casino had 12,000 square-feet of gaming space with over 200 slot, keno and video poker machines. They did not have a casino pit and were only open from 10am to 1am daily. They had Water Rock Bar with 40 gaming machines and no dining options.
Golden Entertainment also operates the Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino and Lakeside Casino & RV Park, both in Pahrump.
They also operate The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, both Arizona Charlie’s and over 65 PT’s Taverns in Las Vegas, as well as the Aquarius and Edgewater casinos in Laughlin.
Gold Town Casino is owned by Terrible Herbst, which is a Nevada-based gaming and gas company. They own and operate Terrible’s Roadhouse Casino, also in Pahrump.
It is unknown if Gold Town Casino will find a new operator, or if it will remain permanently closed.
