On Monday, March 17, a brand new Japanese restaurant opened on the Las Vegas Strip, called Nomikai. It is located on Restaurant Row in the The Venetian Resort & Casino.

Nomikai features a sushi and sake bar with approximately 15-seats and take-out window for those on the go.

The Speakeasy is still under construction, and should open in early April. It is “hidden” by a black door and will seat 50-guests.

From Nomikai: “In Japan, Nomikai is where friends and colleagues meet for food and drinks in a lively setting. Here, it’s an elevated sushi restaurant inspired by this beloved tradition.

Ready to experience a true sense of discovery? The quick-serve to-go counter offers flavorful sushi and craft cocktails. Enjoy premium cuts of sushi and made-to-order hand rolls. A speakeasy is soon to follow in April. This gem will feature an extensive sake and Japanese whiskey collection. Plus, a one-of-a-kind cocktail program for those looking for something new. At the culinary helm is acclaimed sushi chef Setsuji Mitsui. His Japanese roots and contemporary flair shape the dynamic menu.”

Hours: Sunday – Thursday 11am-10pm and Friday & Saturday 11am-12am
