VegasChanges has Updated 11 Laughlin and 3 Mesquite Resorts & Casinos




VegasChanges.com has just returned from both Laughlin and Mesquite. All 14 casino properties have been updated with the latest information and many new photos.

Laughlin is a 90 minute drive from Las Vegas, located in the far southern tip of Nevada. It is best known for its gaming, entertainment, and water recreation. The town is named for Don Laughlin and is located directly across the Colorado River from the town of Bullhead City, Arizona.

Laughlin has over 10 casinos and resorts with over 10,000 hotel rooms,  great dining and entertainment at much lower prices than Las Vegas. The Riverside Resort opened on August 2, 1966 and Don Laughlin wanted to call the community  “Riverside” or “Casino” but the Post Office opted for Laughlin.

The Laughlin resorts and casinos that have been updated are: Aquarius, Avi, Colorado Belle, Edgewater, Golden Nugget, Harrah’s Laughlin Beach Resort & Casino, Laughlin River Lodge, Pioneer, Regency, Riverside and Tropicana.

Mesquite, Nevada is a city adjacent to the Arizona state line and 80 miles northeast of Downtown Las Vegas. The city is located in the Virgin River Valley adjacent to the Virgin Mountains. It is home to a growing retirement community, as well as several casino resorts and golf courses.

It is a stopping point for those traveling along I-15 between Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. The population in 2020 was 20,471, and is one of the fastest growing cities in Nevada.
