Laughlin River Lodge sits on the banks of the Colorado River, across from Bullhead City, Arizona. It opened as Sam’s Town Gold Rivers in 1984. The property has gone through many owners and name changes.
The 25-story hotel tower opened in May 1990. In 2014 the owners of Dotty’s purchased the property and did an extensive remodel and rebranded to the Laughlin River Lodge. Tip: They have no resort fees.
They have 1,000 rooms, in two categories, standard or deluxe. All deluxe rooms come with a view of the Colorado River, 55″ LED TV, free Wi-Fi, microwave, mini-refrigerator and snacks.
Amenities include an outdoor pool and hot tub that is open year-round, sandy beach and fitness center.
They have 41,000 square-feet of gaming space with over 500 slot, keno and video poker machines. The casino is divided into five sections with each having a different theme, Bourbon Street, Dotty’s, La Villita, Points Casino and Red Dragon. They do not have any live table games or a sports book.

They also have Strike Bowl with 10-lanes, Gamer’s PC Alley, pool and ping pong tables and an arcade.
They offer free self-parking. Tip: Laughlin River Lodge has a dock to catch a water taxi. They operate seasonally.
