As we reported in July 2023, construction walls went up for Havana 1957 Cuban Cuisine at the Flamingo Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Seventeen months later, the walls have been finally been removed exposing a very nice looking large restaurant, that is still missing tables and chairs.
It was built in the space that was formerly the Tropical Breeze Cafe, that closed several years ago. Caesars Entertainment, owner of the Flamingo have not issued a press release about the new restaurant, so exact details cannot be confirmed.
It appears they will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will feature live entertainment from two different stages. It has a large full bar and a separate area for freshly prepared food, coffee, ice cream and more to-go.
Havana 1957 Cuban Cuisine has five locations in Miami, Florida. It is owned by Vida & Estilo Restaurant Group, that currently operates three restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip, including Café Americano at Caesars Palace and Paris Hotel & Casino and Mercato Della Pescheria in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort & Casino.
