Six Holiday Attractions Returning to the Las Vegas Valley in 2024

Las Vegas is ready to turn into a winter wonderland for the 2024 holiday season at six different attractions. You can visit the Magical Forest, Glittering Lights, Mystic Falls Park Winter Wonderland, Ethel M’s Holiday Cactus Garden and Ice Skate at two resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Magical Forest at Opportunity Village

In 2024, the Magical Forest will celebrate its 32nd season. Visitors will enjoy the 2.5-acre theme park, and inside the forest, magically decorated trees await you. Forest-goers can also enjoy rides, a round of 8-hole golf surrounded by sparkling lights, nightly entertainment, holiday treats and a vendor village, and midway carnival games. Need a break from the action? There’s plenty of shopping to be had at The Holiday Shoppe and the Neon Kiosk. Make a night of it and enjoy dinner and treats inside Camelot Hall or out on the main thoroughfare at one of our many food outlets. A Beer Garden is open nightly for the 21+ crowd.

Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

As the holiday season approaches, one event that captures the spirit of Christmas in Nevada like no other is Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. A shining beacon of holiday cheer, this event has become a cherished tradition for families and friends, drawing visitors from near and far to experience the magic of millions of glittering lights.

Glittering Lights is not just any holiday light show; it’s Nevada’s premier Christmas light spectacle, showcasing over five million LED lights across more than 600 animated and sparkling displays. Nestled in the vast expanse of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the event is a drive-through experience, allowing you to take in the dazzling displays from the comfort of your vehicle.

As you make your way through the 2.5-mile course, you’ll be mesmerized by the sheer volume of lights and the creativity of the displays which takes approximately 45 minutes to drive through. From classic holiday scenes to whimsical characters and larger-than-life animations, Glittering Lights offers a visual feast that delights visitors of all ages. Mystic Falls Park Winter Wonderland at Sam’s Town

Mystic Falls Park Winter Wonderland is returning to Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall  starting Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Wednesday, Jan. 1. It features over 26,000 lights, a nine-minute holiday laser light show and visitors can enjoy the snowy wonderland every night beginning at sundown. They also have a 18-foot Christmas tree.

Santa will also make visits to the park, starting Friday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 22. He will be available from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Ethel M’s Holiday Cactus Garden

Come visit Nevada’s largest botanical cactus garden decorated with over a million Christmas lights and Holiday decor. Ethel M’s Holiday Cactus Garden is open nightly from November 1st through January 4th. No reservations are required for the Holiday Cactus Garden.

You can take pictures with Santa, enjoy our famous hot chocolate, and grab a quick bite from our food truck. Santa will be available daily from 5pm to 1 hour prior to closing through Monday Dec. 23rd.

The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan

Each holiday season, the Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan transforms into a winter wonderland high above The Las Vegas Strip. At The Ice Rink, you can skate across 4,200 square feet of real ice, roast s’mores by the fire, indulge in seasonal food and beverage offerings and immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere surrounded by the glittering lights of Las Vegas.

New this season, the Ice Rink, in partnership with Coca-Cola®, will introduce the Coca-Cola® Holiday Village, adding an extra sprinkle of seasonal magic with a variety of cheerful experiences. Guests can enter a whimsical igloo ice bar, serving classic Coca-Cola® in special ice bottles dressed in knitted koozies or visit the Coke® Floats station to try the sweet treat complete with an array of delicious toppings.

You can also visit The Chalet, a reimagined mountaintop escape featuring festive décor, comfortable seating and a toasty oversized firepit at the center. In between escapades on the ice, snuggle up and enjoy handcrafted cocktails and unique curated bites.

The spirit of the season is sweeping through Fontainebleau Las Vegas as the luxury resort and casino unveils its first-ever, resort-wide ‘Winter Wonderland’ transformation. Guests will be whisked away into an enchanting winter wonderland at every turn. Kicking off with the grand unveiling of Oasis Ice Rink – the largest real ice rink on the Strip – on November 27, the resort will tout property-wide captivating seasonal décor, must-experience holiday pop-ups, elevated Santa brunches, interactive Signature Series classes, exclusive holiday headliners inside BleauLive Theater and more.
