Two new restaurants are ready to open by Chef José Andrés at The Shops at Crystals, next to ARIA Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Both Bazaar Mar and Bar Centro appear to be ready to open within a week. The construction walls have been removed and everything looks great. Photos are posted below.
Bazaar Mar by José Andrés
The catch of the day gets elevated to stunning heights at Bazaar Mar, the newest concept from world-renowned chef José Andrés. True to its name (mar is Spanish for sea), the menu is a celebration of all things fish and seafood, and drawing from José’s roots, reflects inspiration from his native Spain. An extensive raw bar selection, whole fish prepared in a number of ways, and a focus on only the best ingredients are all interpreted through José’s signature lens of whimsy, creativity, and unexpected flair. Designed by Spain’s Lázaro Rosa-Violán Studio, Bazaar Mar will have a theatrical atmosphere that playfully brings elements of the ocean indoors.
Bar Centro
Enjoy a break from a busy day of shopping with José Andrés’ newest Spanish hideaway, Bar Centro. Here, elevated coffee and tea meet their match with some of José’s favorite sweets from Spain by day, while cocktails, tapas, and caviar-centered bites take the evening stage. With its striking artwork, eye-catching display of elevated pastries, and open views into the kitchen, Bar Centro is the perfect oasis for anytime, day or night.
