How ARIA Resort & Casino Protects Dealers from Second-Hand Smoke

When ARIA Resort & Casino opened on the Las Vegas Strip in 2009, it did several things a little different than many other casinos. It built the casino with high ceilings and an advanced air filtration system which greatly eliminates smoke on the casino floor.

They were the first casino in Las Vegas to build air-curtains on many blackjack tables to deal with smoke and help protect dealers from second-hand smoke. The tables expel air which serves as a barrier between dealers and players.

The air extractors are not easily seen on most colors of felt on gaming tables, but from the photos posted below, you can see them.

ARIA Resort & Casino is the only casino located in CityCenter and is operated by MGM Resorts International.
