HaSalon Ready to Open on the Las Vegas Strip – Sneak Peak Photos

HaSalon will start serving Israeli/Mediterranean cuisine at The Palazzo Resort & Casino on July 15. This new fine dining restaurant is located in the former Majordōmo Meat & Fish space. It will be open Thursday to Saturday 6pm to midnight. Sneak peak photos taken Monday, July 10 are posted below.

From The Venetian: Since opening the hit dining sensation HaSalon in Tel Aviv in 2008, successful outposts have opened in Ibiza, New York, Miami and Paris featuring avant-garde dishes in a collaborative party atmosphere. Each location features an interactive open kitchen offering a visual and culinary feast for the palate. HaSalon continues its traditions of an evolving menu that is changing nightly and filled with surprises and culinary delights.

Celebrating the riches of the Mediterranean land and sea, HaSalon brings together Chef Eyal Shani’s distinctive culinary creativity and the finest international cuisines. Using pure ingredients of exceptional quality, sourced locally wherever possible, this fun and energetic dining experience reflects the spirit and tastes of both its origins in Tel Aviv with the vibrancy of the destination.

In the kitchen, Chef Shani frequently instructs his chefs, “You’re working from intuition, from starving, under a big risk, you’re not trying to be safe, you’re on a journey,” and that is exactly what the friendly servers might say to preface what is in store for diners once they peruse the menu. Between the Dinosaur, a fire-roasted, tender chunk of beef on the bone, the Ocean Treasure, filled with uni, Japanese yellowtail, Osetra caviar and seaweed and Night Roasted Lamb made for “2-5 humans”, guests will enjoy the rollercoaster ride designed for adventurous taste buds and an inquisitive mind.

Often described as a founding father of modern Israeli cuisine, Chef Shani was one of the first chefs from Israel to deconstruct the essence and spirit of the nation’s food. Starting with the seafood-focused Oceanus in his hometown of Jerusalem more than 30 years ago, Chef Shani has established himself as the world’s leading proponent of contemporary Israeli cuisine. Self-taught, Chef Shani is now the owner of 40 restaurants worldwide, a Master Chef judge, and a global ambassador for Israeli cuisine.
