The Silver Legacy Resort & Casino opened on July 25, 1995 and features 1,720 rooms and suites. It features a Victorian 19th Century theme. At 42 stories, it is the tallest building in Downtown Reno. It was the tallest in Nevada for its first two years.

The Silver Legacy is located at “The ROW”, connected to its sister properties, Eldorado and Circus Circus Reno. It is owned by Caesars Entertainment and they use the Caesars Rewards players card.

The heated outdoor pool is open year round (weather permitting). They also have The Spa at Silver Legacy, wedding chapel, shops and more.

The Silver Legacy casino features over 1,000 slot and video poker machines. They have 48 table games in their casino pits. Games include Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Let it Ride, Three Card Poker and more. There are several shows and attractions, including Laugh Factory and TopGolf Swing Suite features virtual reality games. The Grande Exposition Hall at Silver Legacy features many top shows and concerts weekly.

Fun Fact: The 1996, movie “Kingpin”, starring Woody Harrelson and Bill Murray, prominently showcased the newest attractions of Reno – The Silver Legacy, and the nearby National Bowling Stadium.
