The Tropicana Laughlin Hotel & Casino opened in June 1988 as the Ramada Express. It is the only resort in Laughlin that is not on the banks of the Colorado River. The hotel features 1,487 rooms and suites in two towers, the Promenade Tower and the Casino Tower. Many of the rooms were remodeled in 2017. The theme is railroad, but most of that theme has been removed.

The casino features 52,000 square-feet of gaming space, with 650 slot and video poker machines. The casino pit has eight tables with Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and more. They have a very popular Bingo Hall and a Caesars Sportsbook. Their loyalty program is Caesars Rewards.

In early 2019 they closed the Round House Buffet, but they have many other dining options at all price points, including:

The Tropicana Laughlin has several bars and lounges, including the very popular Tango’s Lounge with live entertainment, Pool Bar (open seasonally) and the Premium Slot Lounge.

The Pavilion Theater, on the second floor features live performances from comedy to music. Many special events take place in Victory Plaza on select weekends (outdoors in front of the casino). They also have a large arcade.

The Tropicana Laughlin is operated by Caesars Entertainment.
