The Golden Nugget Laughlin is a hotel and casino that sits on the bank of the Colorado River, across from Bullhead City, Arizona. The casino opened in 1967 as the Nevada Club. In 1988 it became the Golden Nugget Laughlin and the property received a major remodel and expansion.
The 300-room hotel was added in 1992, and it has two wings – east and west. The H20 pool has a hot tub and cabanas. They have a very nice gift shop. The theme is gold rush and tropical.
They feature 34,000 square-feet of gaming space, with over 800 reel, video, progressive slot machines and video poker games. The casino pit features all the popular table games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker and Three Card Poker. They have a very nice Race & Sports Book, live keno and the players card is the 24K Select Club.
Fun Fact: The Golden Nugget Race & Sports Book is the only alternative to William Hill sports betting in Laughlin.
The Golden Nugget Laughlin is owned by Landry’s, Inc., so all restaurants accept the Landry’s Select Club card. They have several restaurants at all price points, including:

- Claim Jumper (American)
- Saltgrass Steak House (Steaks/Chops) Tip: The prices are very reasonable and all entrées come with fresh baked bread and soup or salad.
The Rush Lounge replaced Gold Diggers in 2022 and it has over 20 high-definition TVs and DJ’s and other entertainment weekends. They also have the Reef Bar, Sand Bar with great views of the Colorado River and the H20 Bar at the pool (open seasonally).
Tip: Be sure to see “The Hand of Faith” that is on display in the hotel lobby. It is the world’s largest golden nugget, that weighs 61 lbs. 11 oz. This is free to view.
Tip: The Golden Nugget has a dock for water taxis that operate seasonally.
