Red Rock Resort is a hotel and casino in the master-planned community of Summerlin and caters to Las Vegas “locals”.
It is located approximately 17 miles from both the Las Vegas Strip and Harry Reid International Airport and is within walking distance to The Shops at Downtown Summerlin and the Las Vegas Ballpark.
The resort opened in 2006, and the theme is desert modern. It is the flagship property for Station Casinos (Red Rock Resorts) and is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. It is a AAA Four Diamond-rated resort.
They have 795 rooms and suites in a 20-story hotel tower. Deluxe rooms measure 515 square-feet and come with Egyptian cotton sheets, plush robes, a 65″ ultra-high-def TV and a spa-inspired bathroom.
The pool complex spans over 3 acres and is the resorts centerpiece. It includes the main pool that is heated, eight wading pools, hot tubs and a sand beach. They also have 19 private cabanas, poolside gaming and they keep at least one pool open year-round.
The Red Rock Spa by Well & Being spans over 35,000 square-feet and is one of the largest in Las Vegas. They also have a salon, fitness center, business center and three stores.
The casino has 118,308 square-feet of gaming space with 2,000 slot, keno and video poker machines. They have a 50-table casino pit with all the popular games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold ‘em and more.
The 610-seat Bingo Hall has sessions at the top of each odd hour from 9am to 11pm daily. They also have High Limit gaming, a 16-seat Keno Lounge and 20-table Poker Room.
The STN Race & Sports Book seats 220 guests and has a 96-foot-tall viewing wall. They use the my|Rewards Boarding Pass card.

They have Red Rock Lanes, which is the largest bowling center in Las Vegas with 72 lanes and cosmic bowling nightly. They also have Kids Quest, Cyber Quest and Regal Cinemas with 16 screens and IMAX.
Live entertainment takes place at the 315-seat Rocks Lounge and larger events are held at The Sandbar.
They have over 100,000 square-feet of customizable meeting and event space, including the 20,000 square-foot Red Rock Ballroom.
Fun Fact: Red Rock Resort used the tentative title of “Charleston Station” while this project was under development.
Fun Fact 2: The 2008 music video Body on Me by rapper Nelly was shot at Red Rock Resort.
