Suncoast Hotel & Casino is located in Downtown Summerlin, an upscale suburb in Las Vegas. It opened on September 12, 2000, and caters to Las Vegas “locals”.
It is located 13-miles from the Las Vegas Strip and 15-miles from Harry Reid International Airport. The theme is Mediterranean and is owned by Boyd Gaming.
The 10-story hotel tower has 427 rooms and suites. Standard rooms measure 550 square-feet and suites measure 1,100-2,515 square-feet. All rooms feature full length windows with golf course and mountain views and come with a flat-screen TV and mini-refrigerator.
The Resort Pool and Jacuzzi are open seasonally. They also have The Spa at Suncoast, 24/7 Fitness Center and Gift Shop & Liquor Store.
They have 95,000 square feet of gaming space with 2,400 slot, keno and video poker machines. The 45-table casino pit features Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Face-Up Pai Gow, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and more.
The 400-seat Bingo Center has sessions every odd hour from 11am to 9pm daily. They also have a very nice Sportsbook that has one of the largest high-resolution, wrap-around LED screens in the Las Vegas Valley. Their loyalty program is Boyd Rewards.

Fun Fact: The original name of the Suncoast was going to be Sundance, but they had to change the name due to a copyright issue with the Sundance Film Festival.
Fun Fact 2: The final stage performance by comedian Phyllis Diller took place at the Suncoast in 2002.
