Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall opened in 1979 and it caters to Southern Nevada “locals”. It features 646 rooms and suites and it has a 463-space KOA RV Park. They have an outdoor pool open year-round, fitness center and logo shop.
The theme is the Old West and their slogan is “When you’re here your home!” The owner is Boyd Gaming and their loyalty program is Boyd Rewards.
The casino has some of the latest slot and video poker machines and many older ones. They have a large casino pit with all the popular table games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps (20X odds), Pai Gow Poker, Deuces Wild, Let It Ride and more. Fun Fact: In 2006 the popular Las Vegas based band The Killers released an album titled Sam’s Town named after this casino.
