Luxor Hotel & Casino is located on the South end of the Las Vegas strip. It opened in 1993 and it has 4,407 rooms and suites, on 30 floors. The Pyramid Premium rooms were remodeled in 2017. The Tower Premium rooms were remodeled in 2016.
The Luxor has four swimming pools and whirlpools, Nurture Spa & Salon, several stores and 20,000 square-feet of convention space. The theme is Ancient Egypt. The Luxor is operated by MGM Resorts International and they use the MGM Rewards loyalty card.
The Luxor casino features 120,000 square-feet of gaming space and some of the latest slot machines and all the popular table games, including Blackjack, Craps, 3 Card Poker, Roulette, Baccarat and more. They have a very nice non-smoking BetMGM Race & Sports Book and high-limit gaming rooms.

The Luxor has many bars and lounges throughout the casino, including Flight Bar, Centra Lounge, Aurora Bar, PlayBar and more.
Blue Man Group (seats 830), Carrot Top (seats 350) and the show Fantasy (seats 350) all perform at the Luxor Hotel & Casino.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, Discovering King Tut’s Tomb – The Experience and Bodies…The Exhibition are permanent attractions on the atrium level. In April 2024, they added Particle Ink in the former wedding chapel space.
They also have, a 15,000 square-foot immersive entertainment attraction called Play Playground that opened in January 2024 and the HyperX E-Sports Arena that opened in March 2018.
Fun Fact: The Luxor Sky Beam is the strongest beam of light in the world. It is so powerful that it’s visible to air travelers in Los Angeles, the single beam is created by 39 individual xenon lights with 7,000-watt bulbs. The lights are located in a room 50 feet below the tip of the pyramid and, when on, bring the temperature of the room to upwards of 300°F.
