Flamingo Las Vegas is a resort and casino in the center of the Las Vegas Strip. It opened on December 26, 1946, and was called the “West’s Greatest Resort Hotel” at that time. It was the Flamingo Hilton from 1974-2000 and has a Art Deco / Miami theme.
The Flamingo has 3,460 rooms and suites on 28-floors. Standard rooms are in three categories, Fab rooms, GO rooms and the most recently remodeled rooms are Flamingo rooms. GO and Flamingo rooms come with a mini fridge. Tip: 14 of the newly remodeled Flamingo suites have bunk beds.
In 2025, the (21+) 1.5 acre GO Pool complex was completely redesigned with five pools, 30-seat swim-up bar, 33 VIP cabanas and Live DJ’s on select days. The Family Pool offers a family-friendly entertainment with water slides and cabanas. Tip: They have one of the nicest pool complexes in Las Vegas.
They have the Garden Chapels with several wedding locations, Spa at Flamingo, 24/7 fitness center, business center, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and several shops.
The casino has 93,000 square-feet of gaming space with over 800 of the latest slot and video poker machines. The casino pit has 55 table games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Let It Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Poker and more.
They also High Limit gaming and a Caesars Sportsbook Betting Station, as well as sport betting kiosks. Flamingo Las Vegas is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment and their loyalty program is Caesars Rewards.

Tip: Be sure to visit the Wildlife Habitat to see birds, fish and about a dozen Flamingos. It is a free attraction.
They have two showrooms. The largest is the Flamingo Showroom, formally called the Donny & Marie Showroom that seats 780 people. Donny & Marie ended their 11-year run in November 2019. It currently features headline acts and production shows including RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! and Piff the Magic Dragon. They also have The X Burlesque Theatre that seats 180 guests.
The Flamingo has 73,000 square-feet of flexible meeting and convention space, including the 20,000 square-foot Sunset Ballroom.
Fun Fact: It was the third resort to open on the Las Vegas Strip, and it is the oldest resort on the Strip still in operation today.
Fun Fact 2: The Flamingo has been featured in several movies, including the original Oceans Eleven, Viva Las Vegas and Bugsy. The debut solo album from “The Killers” lead singer Brandon Flowers, “Flamingo”, is named after the casino.
